Worth it: Physician Sources Available to Comment on Cost Efficacy of Knee Replacement Option for Elderly
Rosemont, IL
The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons offers experts for comment on new study finding, which determined that knee replacements are cost effective and pain-reducing procedures for elderly patients. As the healthcare reform debate continues, new evidence from the Archives of Internal Medicine finds that knee replacement surgeries are cost-effective for Medicare and quality-of-life enhancing for elderly patients.
