Donald Patrick Condit, MD Grand Rapids, MI
Dr. Donald Condit is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand, wrist and upper extremity surgery. He received his undergraduate education from the University of Notre Dame, followed by his medical degree from the University of Michigan. His fellowship was done at the Indiana Hand Center for surgery and rehabilitation of the hand and upper extremity, where Dr. Condit was a member of the clinical teaching faculty. He also studied in Switzerland at several leading hand centers.
Dr. Condit is currently in private practice in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is an assistant clinical professor of surgery at Michigan State University. Additional teaching includes clinical instructor for the orthopaedic surgery residency program in Grand Rapids and clinical lecturer at Grand Valley State University. Dr. Condit has traveled to El Salvador for the past six years with a group called Helping Hands Medical Mission to offer his services for free to help others. There he performs surgery on people with hand and upper extremity disorders.
Dr. Condit is a fellow of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association, Kent County Medical Society, Michigan Orthopaedic Society, Michigan State Medical Society and Leadership Grand Rapids. He has published a number of scientific papers and book chapters, including research in arthritis and traumatic disorders.
