Darin Leetun, M.D., is a sports fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with the Portage Health Medical Group in Hancock and the Portage Health Sports Medicine Institute.

A native of Casper, Wyoming, Dr. Leetun earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia and his undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota. In addition, he served his internship and his orthopaedic residency at Fort Worth Affiliated Hospitals. His education features several fellowships, including sports medicine fellowships in Lexington, Kentucky and Perth, Australia. His medical interests include sports medicine, shoulder, knee, upper extremity and lower extremity injuries.

He was inducted February 23, 2005, as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. In addition to the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Leetun is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
