Dr. Lynn A. Crosby, M.D. received his medical degree from the Ohio State University School of Medicine in 1983. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Nebraska and Creighton University School of Medicine in 1989 and later served as a Mid-America Orthopaedic Association Traveling Fellow and a Clinical Orthopaedic Society Traveling Fellow in advanced shoulder surgery.
Dr. Crosby was appointed chair of the Orthopaedic Surgery Department at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in January of 2001. He is an active orthopaedic surgeon who also serves as director of shoulder and elbow surgery for Wright State Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at Miami Valley Hospital.
He was appointed treasurer of the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association in 2003 and second vice president in 2006. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is currently serving on the 2007 annual meeting committee and as chair of the exhibits committee. Dr. Crosby is an active member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society and in 2005 was installed as a North American editor for the Journal. His extensive curriculum vita lists more than 90 publications in a variety of formats.
