David A Abrutyn, MD Bridgewater, NJ
Dr. David Abrutyn joined the Center for Orthopedic Care, having completed his fellowship training in California at the Southern California Center for Sports Medicine in 2005. A graduate of Northwestern University and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. Abrutyn completed his internship and residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Abrutyn’s area of expertise includes Sports Medicine, with an emphasis on shoulder and knee surgery. His surgical practice focuses on arthroscopic, reconstructive and joint replacement surgery. He currently serves as the Team Physician for Immaculata High School in Somerville, and is a Reviewer for the Journal of Arthroscopy. Dr Abrutyn is a member of the Skylands Conferance Medical Advisory Board, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society, the Medical Society of New Jersey and the American Medical Association. Dr. Abrutyn has also been an invited instructor to the AAOS Orthopedic Learning Center cadaver courses.
